Are the republicans stalling on tax reform because they don’t want government to provide better service?

Democrats have always been for tax reform, except republicans want to reduce everything. Republicans rarely see the value government provides because they are busy with profits and government takes away from that to solve pollution and other problems corporations create.

Why do we want Tax Reform when it decreases revenue? What logic and sense would a government even consider that?

No. They are stalling until a Republican is made president. Then they will distract Americans away from the need for tax reform, allowing the high corporate tax rate to hinder any small business upstarts who have the gall to compete with more established and entrenched industries, who have access to a myriad of tax breaks and loopholes to escape that Corporate Tax rate.

  1. It’s not up to the government to provide services, that’s what commercial businesses are for.

  4. Sigh…. Can you tell me in 30 words or less what you believe the government’s main reasons for existence are? No, you can’t. Do you know why? Because you believe the government should do EVERYTHING for EVERYBODY. You probably want the government in your kitchen making your coffee in the mornings.

Sometimes I wonder if you’re serious with the stuff you post, or you’re just writing what you write in a solid effort to make people mad.

  7. You actually have the temerity to ask that knowing their are DOZENS of unanswered bills passed by the House sitting on Harry Reids desk.

Dems have NEVER been for tax reform.

  8. Democrats have their finger stuck in the tax loophole cesspool too. Only an absolute fool would think otherwise.

A tax loophole is a carefully crafted reward/gift for special persons/groups and Corporations. Your Obama’s Jeff Immelt’s company, General Electric didn’t pay one single dime in taxes, yet made BILLIONS.

If YOU want tax reform, then vote Tea Party Candidates.

Besides, 30+ House bills on Dirty Harry’s desk…. there they sit. You libs could have amended and sent them back to the House. But NOOOOOOO! You libs are obstructionists.

  10. Ironically… they are still reveling in their November victory… thinking that they still have momentum and will take both houses.

They are obstructing and bringing Congress to a stand-still… thinking that when they have a sooper-dooper majority, they can bulldoze their regressive agenda through unimpeded.

What they DON’T realize is that their "mandate" was merely a blip of dissatisfaction with all things Washington, and people just took it out on the ruling party.

Not only do they NOT have momentum… they never REALLY had it in the first place.

Therefore their obstructionism will simply be judged by the end result… Waste, incompetence and mean-spirited bullshit.

They are gonna do some serious losing this time around.

    Even by Republican standards.
